One place for everyone at school

Each person sees what is theirs to do, in the language they chose.

Leaders

See the whole school: attendance, progress and every record, with a history of who changed what.

  • A record for every student, with its full history
  • Timetables by class, teacher and room
  • Attendance across the school, with follow-up

Built for how schools actually run

Each part knows about the others, so a timetable feeds the register and a register reaches the family.

Learning

Courses and lessons, assignments and quizzes, rubrics, a gradebook, standards and early-years goals.

A lesson's quiz with points, answers to check and hints

Coding

A Scratch studio, Python, p5.js and the micro:bit editor, marked and kept with each student's work.

School life

Attendance, timetables, the school year and its terms, calendars, announcements and news.

Records

Students and families, enrolment, documents and consents, with every change recorded.

Messages

Messages and email notifications that keep quiet hours, and acknowledgements for what families must read.

Your website

A public website built from sections, with news, events and enquiry forms, on your own domain and in both languages.

Arabic and English, properly

Every screen works right to left and left to right. The school writes in both languages, and each family reads in the one it chose.

  • Each post and page written once in each language
  • Emails sent in the reader's own language
  • Names recorded in Arabic and in English
  • Arabic-Indic or Western digits, as your school writes them

Your school's data stays your school's

Each school's records are walled off in the database, encrypted where they are sensitive, and backed up every night.

Read the security policy
  • Kept apart

Each school's records are separated in the database itself, not only in the app.

  • Encrypted

Sensitive fields are encrypted with each school's own keys, and every connection uses HTTPS.

  • Backed up

Nightly backups to a second provider, kept where they cannot be deleted.

  • Accountable

Every change to a record is kept, with who made it and when.

Prefer your own servers?

Farida's source is public. A school or group of schools may run it on its own server for its own people, under the Functional Source License.
